How has Sports Funding money helped our School?

Primary PE and Sport Premium was introduced by the Government in 2013 to improve the provision of physical education and school sport in primary schools across England.

The Primary PE and Sport Premium has helped our school by:

Enabling us to be part of the Carlton Sports Partnership which offers a huge range of sports competitions throughout the year. This helps build children’s confidence and means our children can participate in lots of sports festivals, giving them a taster in a whole range of different sporting activities.

We can attend Cluster Sports events, PE meetings, and gain valuable information on local sports coaches, legislation etc by having access to the local Sports Coordinator.

Enjoying After-school Sports clubs run by qualified coaches in a range of activities.

Being able to renew old equipment and purchase new and exciting sports items for the children.
