Children in both key stages are required to sit tests in English and Maths.

Children in both key stages are required to sit tests in English and Maths.

Children at the end of Key Stage 1 have to take 3 tests – Reading Comprehension, Spelling, Grammar & Punctuation and Writing. These are marked internally within school and results reported to parents at the end of the year.

Children at the end of Key Stage 2 are required to sit 3 English papers – Reading Comprehension, Grammar & Punctuation and Spelling. These are marked externally. Writing is teacher assessed and marked internally. In addition they also sit 2 Maths papers – Arithmetic and Mathematical Reasoning.

The results from these tests are published in DfE Performance Tables annually.

The Government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 – 2022 academic year. They have archived data from the 2018 – 19 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.’

Please see the link below for our Performance Measures for 2018 – 19 as data is NOT being published for 2021 – 22 as stated above.
