Harvest Festival
On 7th October 2019, the whole school hosted a Harvest Festival in St. James’ Church, Fairburn.
Children in Foundation/Y1 recited some super harvest rhymes and acted out the story of the Gingerbread Man whilst Y2/3 pupils had written 100 things they are thankful for in homage to the Jewish faith where people say thanks 100 times a day over the festival of Sukkot. Finally, children in Y4,5,and 6 read some of their Haiku poems about the beauty of the earth. A lovely service was enjoyed by all.
